This curated pairing includes four of Chef John’s seasonal small bites, each made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and thoughtfully paired with four Holman Ranch wines. This is a light-bites tasting experience, designed for casual grazing, conversation, and enjoying the afternoon at Holman Ranch Estate.

About the Chef:
Chef John was born & raised in coastal Georgia’s Low Country and now resides in Big Sur, California. His travels as a chef have shaped his perspective, drawing inspiration from the people, places, and ingredients he’s encountered along the way. Seasonality and sustainability have defined his approach throughout his career. More recently, Chef John has served as Chef de Cuisine, helping open restaurants in Denver, Colorado at Hearth & Dram and nearby in Santa Cruz at Alderwood. Drawn to the rugged beauty of the Big Sur coast, he went on to cook at the renowned Post Ranch Inn. Following the pandemic and subsequent restaurant closures, he shifted his focus to private chef work, continuing to offer thoughtful, comforting hospitality in a more personal setting.
