Celebrate Easter Sunday with brunch at the Holman Ranch Tasting Room in Carmel Valley Village. Paradise Catering will be serving a generous spring-inspired buffet featuring classic brunch favorites, seasonal dishes, and a live action station for freshly made pancakes and French toast.

Adult tickets include one glass of 2022 Reserve Jarman Sparkling Brut Rosé. Additional wine will be available for purchase.

Gather with family and friends to enjoy a relaxed holiday meal in the heart of the village. With a menu designed for all ages and plenty of savory and sweet options, this is the perfect way to celebrate Easter together.

Don't miss our next "Chef Spotlight" with Big Sur's Chef John Harry. Join us for a relaxed afternoon tasting experience featuring seasonal cuisine and estate-grown wines at the Holman Ranch Historic Hacienda.

This curated pairing includes four of Chef John’s seasonal small bites, each made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and thoughtfully paired with four Holman Ranch wines. This is a light-bites tasting experience, designed for casual grazing, conversation, and enjoying the afternoon at Holman Ranch Estate.

Please note: This experience includes tasting pours paired with small bites, not a full meal.

About the Chef:
Chef John was born & raised in coastal Georgia’s Low Country and now resides in Big Sur, California. His travels as a chef have shaped his perspective, drawing inspiration from the people, places, and ingredients he’s encountered along the way. Seasonality and sustainability have defined his approach throughout his career. More recently, Chef John has served as Chef de Cuisine, helping open restaurants in Denver, Colorado at Hearth & Dram and nearby in Santa Cruz at Alderwood. Drawn to the rugged beauty of the Big Sur coast, he went on to cook at the renowned Post Ranch Inn. Following the pandemic and subsequent restaurant closures, he shifted his focus to private chef work, continuing to offer thoughtful, comforting hospitality in a more personal setting.

Join us for an intimate afternoon at Holman Ranch, designed for those who are intrigued by the story behind the bottle. "Meet the Maker: A Conversation in the Vineyard" offers a rare opportunity to experience our wines through the eyes of those who craft them. With only 15 seats, this exclusive gathering invites meaningful conversation and connection in our estate vineyard.

The experience begins in our estate wine cave, where guests will be welcomed by winemaker Greg Vita for a guided cave tour and a special barrel sample tasting, offering a behind-the-scenes glimpse of wines still quietly evolving before they are bottled.

From there, guests will ride up to our 18-acre vineyard, where sweeping views of the Santa Lucia Mountains set the stage for four (4) wine tasting pours and a grazing table from Carmel Valley Creamery. Surrounded by the vines, Greg will lead a relaxed conversation about the estate, sharing insight into the grapes we grow, what’s happening in the vineyard during the growing season, and the philosophy behind crafting our wines. Sophie, owner of Carmel Valley Creamery, will also join us to introduce her artisan cheese selection and share the story behind her handcrafted cheeses.

At Holman Ranch, every bottle reflects a deep commitment to craftsmanship, from estate-grown fruit and careful vineyard stewardship to hand-harvesting and hands-on cellar work. This experience offers a rare opportunity to hear how those thoughtful decisions shape the wines in your glass.

Please note: This experience includes cheese and small bites for grazing rather than a full meal. Guests will spend approximately 90 minutes in the vineyard before being driven back down to the parking area to conclude the afternoon.

We are excited to invite you to a Sound Bath meditation on Sunday, June 7th from 4:00PM to 5:30PM. Settle in and enjoy a restorative afternoon designed to help you reset, reflect, and welcome a sense of renewal. Finish the afternoon with a glass of estate-grown Holman Ranch wine.

If you’re new to Sound Bath meditation, this therapeutic meditation uses carefully layered sound frequencies to encourage deep relaxation, reduce stress, and support overall well-being. During the session, you’ll lie down or sit comfortably as our instructor, Jordy, plays crystal bowls, gongs, and chimes, creating an immersive soundscape that gently calms the nervous system and quiets the mind.

We encourage you to bring a yoga mat or cushion, a blanket, a journal, and wear comfortable clothing that allows you to fully relax and settle in.

Wellness events will take place inside the Holman Ranch Carriage House. This space will be heated comfortably during the Sound Bath meditation.
